[Usagi Tsukino]

It had been a few days since Usagi had met Miaka in the arcade at Akihabara, and in the meantime, had seen her at school all of the time - along with that rude woman. Oh well, at least Usagi had made a new friend, and it excited her.

Now at least was the chance to introduce Miaka to the girls at the shrine. She had told Miaka where to meet them, and Usagi stood at the summit of all those godawful stairs, right underneath the shrine's Torii gates, patiently waiting. She couldn't wait to see how the other girls would react to meeting someone new. Minako had already met her, but Ami, Makoto and Rei hadn't - though Makoto was a bit busy these days. She hoped that Rei-chan wouldn't be too mean.

Although Ami had taken an earlier bus than she had had to, she had the feeling that she was a bit late. Hurried she stepped out of the bus and went to the stairs that led to the Hikawa Shrine, where they wanted to meet. Ami was very curious what Usagi wanted to tell them there. She hadn't told her much about why she wanted to meet them, but Usagi had seemed very excited and that had made Ami even more curious, especially as the meeting couldn't be about learning. Usagi wouldn't have been excited about it then and it was against her typical behavior to plan something like this.

For a moment Ami stopped in front of all the steps until she started climbing them. She wasn't sure, how often she had been here at the shrine already, but the last two years they hadn't met as often as they had before, when they still had another task to fulfill than to learn and to succeed in their classes so that they were able to go to a good college after high school. She had almost reached the steps, when she saw that Usagi was standing already there. Smiling she started running up to her.

"Hi Usagi.", she greeted her and only stopped running, when she had reached the summit of the steps and her best friend.
